In short
Your documents never leave your device. Every tool (merge, split, compress, convert, redact, OCR, watermark) runs entirely in your browser. We have no server that receives your files, no account and no tracking. The site also works offline once it has loaded.
Who is responsible
Responsible for data processing under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) is the operator named in the legal notice.
Hosting
The website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). When you load a page, Cloudflare technically processes your IP address, the time and the requested address to deliver the page and protect it against attacks. Cloudflare may process this data outside Switzerland, including in the USA. Cloudflare never receives your documents.
Data stored on your device
Your light/dark mode choice and, if you buy Pro, your licence key are saved in your browser (localStorage). The app files are cached so the site works offline. We do not use cookies. You can delete all of this by clearing your browser data.
Pro licences
Once Pro is for sale, the licence server stores only your email address, your plan, the payment provider’s customer number and the licence’s status and end date. It is used to issue and restore your licence and nothing else. Payments are handled by the payment provider under its own privacy policy. During the beta, no licence data is collected at all.
